Dr Ushita Shah Practice Owner and Principal Dentist

I qualified from Bristol University in 2008 and then went onto Senior House Officer posts in Oral Surgery for two years in London, Slough and Bristol. I completed my Masters in Implant Surgery at Cardiff University.

I moved to Guernsey in 2017 and have never looked back!

As well as being a part time dentist, I oversee the day-to-day running of the practice. I carry out General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Implant Surgery. Over the years I have helped nervous patients overcome their fears and realise that dental procedures need not be stressful.

We are a great team at the Bridge Dental Clinic and I am grateful everyday for the hard work and dedication to patient care that all members of the team demonstrate.

Dr Farjad Chaudhry Associate Dentist

I qualified from the University of Birmingham and went on to complete my Foundation Training in Redditch. I then completed two additional years of hospital based training, focusing on Oral surgery and gaining my sedation qualification.

I love all aspects of dentistry but find composite bonding and oral surgery especially rewarding. As someone who didn’t particularly like going to the dentist themselves, I know how daunting it can be, and as such, try my hardest to make the experience as pain-free and relaxing as possible. My aim is to get to know you first and foremost, listen to your wants and needs, and provide excellent clinical care.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking and binge watching whatever show I’m currently obsessed with. I can't wait to explore Guernsey and enjoy the amazing beaches on the Island.

Dr Kalliopi Koutsou Dentist

I am an experienced dentist with over 15 years of practice in both the UK and Greece. I graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and later completed a Master’s in Restorative Dental Practice at University College London’s Eastman Dental Institute, where I achieved distinction and Dean’s List recognition.

My expertise includes advanced restorative dentistry and full-mouth rehabilitation, Invisalign treatments and facial aesthetics such as Botox® and dermal fillers. I take pride in delivering patient-centred care, especially supporting nervous patients, through compassionate communication and tailored calming techniques. My focus is always on combining clinical excellence with patient trust, and I am passionate about using the latest innovations in dentistry to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, and practicing yoga. I am delighted to be part of Bridge Dental Practice and look forward to caring for the community.

Tiffany Mellor Hygienist

I have worked in dentistry for many years and qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Dental Therapist at Kings College London in 2016. After graduating, I moved to Jersey for 7 months & ended up staying for 6 years! Since being introduced to Guernsey, I have fallen in love with the Island & moved over at the end of 2022. My aim is to provide patients with the best oral health care and an all-round comfortable experience. Outside of work, I am enjoying exploring Guernsey & I’m looking forward to attempting some cold water swimming!

Monica De Sousa Practice Manager

I was born in Madeira and moved to guernsey 31 years ago. I have mainly worked in customer facing roles. I feel very privileged to work with such a fantastic, friendly team here at the Bridge Dental clinic and I look forward to welcoming new and existing patients to the clinic. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs, and spending time with friends

Sara Fernandes Head Dental Nurse and Receptionist

I am from Madeira and moved to Guernsey in 2018 so that I could be reunited with my parents. I have been working at the Bridge Dental Clinic since 2022 and am pleased to be the head dental nurse. I enjoy all the various aspects of nursing and enjoy being part of the friendly team at the Bridge Dental Clinic.

Sally De Garis Qualified Dental Nurse

I qualified as a dental nurse in 2005 and have previously worked in 2 other practices. I enjoy all aspects of dental care and am enjoying working as part of the Bridge Dental Team.

In my spare time, I like walking and exploring different parts of the island and I do the occasional beach clean

Teresiah Ng'ang'a Trainee Dental Nurse

I am originally from Kenya and I moved to Guernsey in 2024. I have been working at the Bridge Dental Clinic since October 2025. I love chairside assisting to provide exceptional care to our patients. I am also working towards my NEBDN Dental Nursing Qualification.

Outside the practice, I enjoy the outdoors, visiting places of interest and spending time with loved ones.
