Dr Hylton Jenkins Principal Dentist, BSc. BChD. (Pret)
I arrived in Guernsey in 2012, and have quite simply fallen in love with the island the people and the lifestyle. I am delighted to have taken over the Bridge Dental Clinic.
Since graduating from Pretoria University in 1984, I have practiced family oriented general dentistry with special interest in treating nervous and phobic patients, aesthetic dentistry, orthodontics and oral surgery. I have completed extensive post - graduate training and have been a Member of the Clinical Foundation of Orthodontics and Orthopaedics since 1987.
I spent 13 years working with nervous and phobic patients in a referral clinic in Berkshire and enjoy helping patients overcome their fear and aversion to dental procedures. I have been a member of The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry since 2000.
I enjoy working with children and find it very rewarding to give them a pleasant start a positive attitude to dentistry.
Prior to studying Dentistry, I gained my Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Zoology, Botany and Genetics. I have maintained a lifelong interest in wildlife and the natural sciences. I also represented my university at rugby at under 20 level, water polo and athletics.
My interests outside dentistry are nature, fishing, kayaking, water sports, clay pigeon shooting, music, skiing and following world cricket, rugby and athletics.

"I aim to ensure that you are completely satisfied from the moment you make contact with us till the moment you leave"
Anne Jenkins (Richardson) Practice Manager
Since moving here in 2012 I have rekindled a love for this island. As a child I was part of the bucket and spade brigade who came here for summer holidays during the peak of tourism in the 70’s and 80’s.
I enjoy my role as Practice Manager and approach it with the enthusiasm that I put into everything that I do. My aim is to ensure that you are completely satisfied from the moment you click on our website or ring the clinic to make an appointment, right through to you leaving with a smile.
Prior to moving to Guernsey I was a development officer for British Rowing, working with over 500 rowing clubs across England to help them grow the sport of rowing. During which time I rowed competitively and wrote the National Learn to Row handbook. My career has mostly been in small business management working with schools, a national bereavement charity and estate agents.
My qualifications include a Ba Hons in Business Studies, PGCE in Sports Management and I am a qualified rowing coach and coach educator.
When not working, I enjoy outdoor sports including kayaking, running and cycling and have recently rediscovered my love for sewing.

Kathryn Le Flock Head Receptionist & Dental Nurse
I have been at the Bridge Dental Clinic for 11 years having previously worked as nurse at another dental practice on the island. I mainly do reception work, which I really enjoy. In my role as head receptionist I like welcoming patients and ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly. As a qualified nurse I act as a dental nurse when required.
When not at work, I am busy with my two young children. With them both at school, I thought I would have a bit more free time. However I spend so much time ferrying them to and from all their various activities. As a family our favourite holidays are going with friends to Disneyland Paris or tackling some winter skiing holiday.
We have 2 golden retrievers, which add to all the the chaos in the Le Flock household.
Marie Prevel Receptionist
I am a mother of 6 children and 3 grandchildren, which really keeps me on my toes and I love every minute of it. Our house also has numerous pets, including 3 dogs, snakes and a very large bunny rabbit. I started work in one of the Vets on the island when I was 14 and have been working there as a nurse or receptionist ever since. I love my role as receptionist at the Bridge Dental Clinic as its really busy and very varied. I get so much pleasure from seeing people coming in with a problem and then watching them leaving happily with a smile on their face.
Lots of years of experience.
Lynda Lajoie Receptionist
I am from Scotland and I came to work in the hospitality trade in Guernsey in 1987. I then met the man of my dreams and have stayed here since. I love the island and the way of life. I worked at the auction house for 16 years as a receptionist and then retired. However retirement wasn't quite for me and I really enjoy working part time.
When not at work I am a passionate gardener and spend as much time there as possible.
Jamy Petit Dental Surgery Assistant.
I am from Holland and came to the Island after living in Austria for the past 6 years. I had been looking for a new career when the opportunity came up here to train as a dental nurse. The studying brings its challenges and I am ready to sit my exams, it will be great to qualify and get my registration.
My little daughter is keeping me busy when I am not at work. My main hobby when not at work is cycling. My passion for the mountains will make my holiday destinations easy. Either in winter for skiing or summer for a nice beautiful climb.
Although a native Dutch speaker, I also speak English and German.
Lidia Solek Dental Surgery Assistant
I came to Guernsey from Poland 3 years ago. I spend 2 years working in the hospitality trade which I did enjoy. I then felt I would like to train and have some qualifications. I really enjoy my role as a dental nurse and I'm busy working my way through my studies. As a native Polish speaker some days its quite challenging to study in English.
Jade Burtenshaw Dental Surgery Assistant
I am a Guernsey girl and have lived here all my life. I am also the newest member of the team here. Before starting my training here I worked as a hairdresser and beauty therapist. I was keen to have a career change and really enjoy my role training as a dental nurse. I am looking forward to new course course starting at the college in January.
My sister and nephew live in England and when I have free time I love going over there to spend time with them. In my free time I like socialising with friends and still doing the odd bit of hairdressing.
